Introductions

This is the first post and, as such, I suppose it should be profound, thought provoking, and intelligent, to encourage readers to return ...


... Nah, I'll just be myself and you can decide if you want to come back and read my thoughts (It's called "rambling" for a reason).


So, first up.


Introductions:


You're probably thinking "who are you, what the hell are you rambling about, and why should I care?"


Who I am:  My name is R.J. Anderson.  I'm a rather opinionated, loud, and, sometimes, abrasive woman from Sydney in Australia, but who lives, when I can get there, in Melbourne.


I am in my 30s (just) and work in the medical profession where my primary role appears to be correcting the mistakes of interns and telling nurses what to do.


I have far too many cats and far too little time to get through everything I need and want to do.  Hence the reason my posts here will only be occasional.


So, welcome to the crazy, messed up world that is me.


The purpose of this blog:


The blog is just somewhere that I can put my random thoughts, rant about the world in general, and religion in particular.


I'll be posting here occasionally, certainly not every day.


I will be giving my opinion on the events of the world, in particular all the messed up things religions and their followers get up to.

And there are many other atheist blogs out there.  So I decided, as is my way, not to be polite about it.  Yes, many things about religions, their followers, their antics and their attitudes piss me off, and I'm not going to hide behind a PC front about it.


Why should I care?


If you're inclined to look at the world and not see the mess it is in, then you shouldn't.  Hey, I'm just rambling here.  But if you have concerns, and agree with me about them, then you're welcome here, to read and to contribute.

Sorry, Kent, that is a title you have not earned and that you should be universally condemned for using.  You gave a pathetic, idiotic "thesis" to an unaccredited diploma mill and somehow think that puts you on par with people who actually worked hard for their Ph.Ds.


And wait, is that a Duggar in that picture?  One who defended his son after he molested his sisters...?
